A GOLD Coast developer has off loaded a Burleigh Heads industrial site for $1m plus windfall only a month after settling on the purchase of the property.
Potter Projects, a division of The Potter Group, sold the 4880sq m site at 49 Leda Dve for $4.26m to an undisclosed buyer.
The property was purchased by Potter Projects for $3.1million in July 2020, settling the site in December 2020. The group originally intended to redevelop it into an upscale industrial warehouse project.
‘The offer was excellent so we decided to proceed with the sale and move on to other projects,” Director, Zac Potter said.
The sale was negotiated by James Borbidge from Burleigh Heads real estate agency Lacey West.
The site is within an established and popular industrial precinct, only 200m from Burleigh’s Kortum Dve and less than 3km from Burleigh’s James St commercial and retail hub.
Potter Projects is experiencing strong demand for its industrial property, achieving millions of dollars in sales across its growing portfolio of warehousing and commercial projects on the Gold Coast in recent months.
